I definitely recommend coming to The Alma. It’s quite hard nowadays to find a pub that does fantastic food and has a great vibe – this is it! I had a Picante (which was excellent), the lamb scotch egg, the cote de boeuf Sunday roast, and my partner and I shared the sticky toffee pudding. Literally, it was all SO good! I had asked for extra gravy as well as extra potatoes which they happily provided free of charge. Staff (in particular Liga) were friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to come back!

Sunday roast was delicious, big crispy potato’s. Sticky toffee pudding was tasty and a big portion. Only regret is we didn’t order the cauliflower cheese! Liga, Vas & Ella served us and well brilliant.
