Our Rooms

Having a beer at the bar, or a big, fat Sunday Roast, you’d never imagine there are 23 boutique-y bedrooms above & adjacent to our lovely pub. It’s is a true hubbub of life, always thrumming with action & activity – all sorts of people flurrying through the doors with stories to tell – but when the bell rings at the end of the night, all is still and quiet.

Handily placed opposite Wandsworth Town Train Station (and with on-street parking) you can be at London Waterloo lickety-split in just 10 minutes – meaning the fab sights of the Big Smoke are at your fingertips. Explore our local area too, whether it’s a jaunt along the Thames, a day trip to Wimbledon, or if you’re having a sport-y stay-over we’re pretty close to Stamford Bridge & Twickenham Rugby Stadium.

Our pub with rooms is run by Phil & his pub dog Eddie, who would just love to snaffle a bit of your bar snack. Be sure to give him a little nibble – along with a scratch behind the ears (Eddie – not Phil) Oh, and whilst we’re on the subject of dogs, if you’re travelling with your furry bestie, there’s the joyful King George’s park just around the corner too. It’s ideal for a pooch mooch before you turn in for a good night’s kip.

Our bigger boutique rooms are all located on the second floor above the pub. Each has a freestanding rolltop bathtub, which makes for a rather bubble-tastic way to end (or start) your day – even if we do say so ourselves.

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Wandsworth?

We love our corner of South London and know you will too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in and around Wandsworth that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure our Wandsworth pub props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Wandsworth?

There’s plenty. We’re lucky enough to be on the doorstep to Central and South London. Spend your day ambling King George’s Park (when the weather is nice) or board a train to central London to see the city sights. Pub crawls up your alley? Luckily we know a few in the area with rockin’ landlords, great beer, and pub gardens too (just give us a shout and we’ll give you the route).

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our lovely pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 8am, 7 days a week. If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We sure do. Some of our Boutique, Boutique Twin, and Feature Boutique rooms have space for cots for little ones and fold-out beds for bigger little ones.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Please do – pub dog Eddie can’t wait to meet you.  Our Boutique and Boutique Twin rooms are dog-friendly – simply add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

With our city based location we don’t have any on-site spaces. On-street parking is available on nearby roads, as well as longer-stay parking towards Southside Shopping Centre (NCP Wandsworth Southside).

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re quite literally a hop and a skip from Wandsworth Town train station – you’ll see us as soon as you step out of the station.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
