Steeped in history and with unrivalled hospitality, landlord Connal (and pub dog Bailey) invite you to visit for our signature cocktails, local craft beers and kind of a big deal when it comes to sports, with the best match day atmosphere Wandsworth has to offer.

If you’re looking for the best pub to have a chilled (but properly good) meal, then look no further. Our incredible kitchen team take a pub classic and give it a kick of their signature style – making our food a little bit special. And if you like to keep fit whilst away, you’ll have free access to work out at Anytime Fitness, our friends just down the road.

If you’re planning ahead for an epic knees-up, our private Old York Room is a spot-on for a party, we believe it’s the best spot in Wandsworth to celebrate.

Next to the pub are 23 boutique-style bedrooms, and they’re pretty lovely. If you’re staying in Wandsworth for work – or are planning a sightseeing holiday – we’re  just opposite Wandsworth Town Railway Station (which is pretty handy) so you can be in London Waterloo within 10 minutes.

Friendly, Comfy Weekend

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and it was the friendliest and most personal hotel experience we have had. The room was quiet, the bed was comfy, lovely bath tub with taps in the middle!! And a plethora of choice in the mini bar. Breakfast was delicious. The real standout was the staff. All lovely, welcoming, helpful, and above and beyond what we would have expected. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to all our friends who need a London stay. Thanks guys!

Stunning Sunday Roast

Wonderful English-Style pub! Friendly, knowledgeable staff… absolutely stunning roast beef Sunday lunch (but all the food looked great) Pub dog, Eddie was friendly, and helpful in keeping smiles on faces. We will definitely be back soon.
