Welcome to The Alma

An iconic landmark, standing proudly in the heart of Wandsworth Town, The Alma is a traditional British Victorian pub & rooms. Steeped in history and with unrivalled hospitality, landlord Phil (and pub dog Eddie) invite you to visit for the best local real ales, craft beers and spritz’s out on the terrace. Oh, and bloody lovely food.

We’re kind of a big deal when it comes to sports, and we’re probably best known for having an awesome atmosphere on match days. So, whether it’s the UEFA Euro 2024, or catching up on the cricket, we’ve more sports than you can shake a racquet at.

If you’re planning ahead for an epic knees-up, Old York Room is a spot-on party place. And if you’re looking for the best place to have a chilled (but properly good) meal, our pub restaurant is the bees knees. The incredible kitchen team take a pub classic and give it a kick of their signature style – making our food a little bit special.

Next to the pub are 23 boutique-style bedrooms, and they’re pretty lovely. If you’re staying in Wandsworth for work – or are planning a sightseeing holiday – we’re  just opposite Wandsworth Town Railway Station (which is pretty handy) so you can be in London Waterloo within 10 minutes.

Make Your Sunday Count

Sunday is the whole family (dogs and all) settling in for a long and lazy lunch. With Jonas at the kitchen helm possessing some seriously good roasting skills, we promise our Sunday’s won’t disappoint.

We’re talking Hampshire venison haunch, sensational aged West Country beef, not to mention our (nearly) famous sharing roasts. All enjoyed with the crispiest of tatties, yorkies the size of your head, and with a landlord from ‘oop north’, gallons of gravy (of course!)

UEFA Euro 2024

It’s that time of year again. Book your squad in to the best pub in the world (or Wandsworth at least) to watch every hair raising match of the UEFA Euro 2024.

Expect millions of pints being poured, bar snack that’ll make Grandpa proud and a match day buzz you only get behind our green tiles.
